Who?

Hi, I'm Brian King! I'm a 27 year-old rockstar/computer geek who has many far too many interests for 24 hours in a day, including music, technology, music technology, brewing the perfect espresso, food, brewing beer, running, soccer, anything Frisbee (ultimate, golf, just throwing around), volunteering, fundraising for my favorite charities, and my beautiful wife who is amazingly patient and supportive of all my hobbies and crazy endeavors. My "day job" is a graduate student in electrical engineering working on audio technology (if you're interested in learning more about my dissertation topic, let me know, but I won't bore anyone else with the math). Recently, I've been looking for a way to encourage myself to play more music, which inspired me to think of yourdailyjingle (a.k.a. Your Daily Jingle). Not only will it get your message out to the world at an extremely great price, but I get to play more music! Everybody wins!

What?

If you buy a day, I write you a jingle, simple as that! If you don't buy a jingle, you'll at least be able to count on seeing at least one amusing thing every day. Where?

My home base is currently Dayton, Ohio. Woo hoo! I'll be moving back to Seattle during the summer. I'll be doing a bit of traveling this year. While living out east, I'll be journeying to New Orleans, Pittsburgh, Columbus, DC, hopefully Boston, and anywhere else when I have a free weekend. On the road trip back to Seattle, I'll be visiting Austin, Las Vegas, San Diego, San Luis Obispo, Portland, and everywhere in between. Since I'll be on the road a lot, there will be many jingles written and performed in some fun locations. I'm really looking forward to shooting one at the Grand Canyon and in one of the military bunkers just north of the Golden Gate Bridge (oh, the reverb!). I'm planning on having an epic year. Why don't you join me?

Why?

Why is a big question, so I'm going to answer instead why I believe Your Daily Jingle is going to be successful. My wife's really into bullet points, so that's what I'm going to do here:

• This is viral marketing at its finest! You could spend a fortune on commercials that people are trying to avoid, or you could buy a jingle that people actually want to see and share with their friends!
• Great advertising for a new product, breaking into a new market, a blog, a political figure, new ideas, a nonprofit or community organization, a fundraiser, a web site, a foot race, and whatever else you think of!
• Great for wedding announcements, Bar Mitzvah announcements, birthday announcements, and anything else noteworthy.
• Looking for that perfect gift for that special someone who seems to have everything? Bet he or she doesn't have a personal jingle!
• Personal ringtone, anyone?
• Absolutely the best bang for your buck. Seriously.

For Me

• I love playing music and writing fun songs, and I want to share it with the world!
• Your Daily Jingle has been pure enjoyment for me, from the time inspiration hit. Heck, I even had a blast writing the terms and conditions!
• And in case you were wondering, I was actually born with an infinite supply of jingles, so have no fear that I'll be running out of creativity!

For The World

• As silly as I might be sometimes, I am serious about social responsibility and using my abilities and resources to help others.
• One way that I will do this is that 20% of all the money brought in by this site will be donated to charities and nonprofit organizations that are truly making a difference locally and around the world.
• Each month, there will be a new charity chosen by your votes! Every person can vote once every day, so as my ex-coworker always said, "Vote early, vote often." I actually have no idea if that's a common saying or if he just made it up. Anyone know? The first person to email me and tell me who coined this phrase will win a prize! Gotta give props to anyone who reads down this far! I salute you!
• Also, after using the props and products sent to me for use in the jingle, I'll donate many of them to people and organizations who need them more than myself.
